Sazerac acquired Last Drop Distillers Limited, a family-run company in New Orleans that was founded in 2008 by James Espey and Tom Jago. Previous to establishing Last Drop Distillers, between them the partners created such brands as Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Chivas Regal 18 Year Old, The Classic Malts, Malibu and Baileys Irish Cream. Today the company is operated under Espey’s and Jago’s daughters – Beanie Espey and Rebecca Jago.
