Napa Valley luxury winemaker Silver Oak has appointed Jared Fix as CEO, succeeding David Duncan, who will become Executive Chairman and Proprietor. Fix most recently served as the CEO of shoe company Toms, but he also previously served in roles at Constellation Brands and Beam Suntory. He serves on the board of Texas’ Desert Door Distillery. Duncan’s father, Ray Duncan, co-founded Silver Oak in 1972 with Winemaker Justin Meyer. After selecting Daniel Baron to succeed him as winemaker in 1994, Meyer retired, selling his share of Silver Oak to the Duncan family in 2001. Duncan’s sons, David and Tim, own and operate the winery. Its brands include Silver Oak, Twomey, Ovid Napa Valley and Timeless Napa Valley.
