Slocum & Sons added wines from Greek suppliers via importer Eklektikon.

Slocum & Sons added wines from Greek suppliers via importer Eklektikon. The group partners with artisanal growers who cultivate their own grapes using organic and biodynamic methods, and vinify naturally, with a portfolio of 20 growers that represents more than 10% of the 300-plus recorded indigenous Greek grapes. Eklektikon was born in 2011 with a passion for Greek wine and Greek pride, creating a “bridge” between Greek tradition and the U.S. market in the form of imported handcrafted natural Greek wines. New-to-Connecticut wines from Slocum & Sons include Amos, Kontozisis Organic Wines and Papras Bio Wines, both in the region of Thessaly, and the wines of Anna Halkia, a small organic grower and winemaker in Nemea, the largest winemaking region in Greece and home to the Agiorgitiko grape.
