
Slocum & Sons hosted a visit from Clemens Lageder, Owner and Director of Alois Lageder winery in Alto Adige, Italy, on March 5. Lageder discussed the latest news of his family’s winery, including its plans to adopt 100% organic and biodynamic farming methods in all of its vineyards by 2023. Lageder is the sixth generation in the winery’s long heritage in the South Tyrol landscape of northern Italy. Lageder presented a number of wines to the Slocum & Sons sales team, including Riff Pinot Grigio 2018 and the new vintages of Alois Lageder: Pinot Grigio, Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay and Schiava and its single-vineyard wines, Porer Pinot Grigio, Vogelmaier Moscato Giallo, Forra Manzoni Bianco and Krafuss Pinot Noir.
