Tequila Zarpado is crafted from hand-harvested mature blue agave grown in the Los Valles region of Jalisco, Mexico, and is double-distilled in small batches.
Massachusetts-based importer Latitude Beverage, whose portfolio includes 90+ Cellars, has launched its first tequila with Tequila Zarpado, now available in Rhode Island via East Coast Beverage and in Connecticut via wholesaler Latitude Beverage Co. of Connecticut. Zarpado is a partnership with the distillery Cavas de Don Max and Master Blender Dan Becherano, whose family has made tequila for close to 40 years. Crafted from hand-harvested mature blue agave grown in the Los Valles region of Jalisco, Mexico, the tequila is double-distilled in small batches. Rich and flavorful, Tequila Zarpado has an earthy sweetness balanced by warming spices and a full-bodied agave flavor and smooth taste. The vibrant label design by Joaquín Nava of Chihuahua, Mexico, offers a contemporary take on ancient Aztec storytelling, brought to life by elaborate illustrations in rich gold and agave blue.
