
Norwalk’s SoNo 1420 America’s Maritime Distillery showcased its craft spirits with a Bourbon Battle event on May 21. During the event, led by SoNo 1420 America’s Maritime Distillery Co-CEOs Ted Dumbauld and Scott Tuck, guests were greeted with a welcome cocktail featuring SoNo 1420 America’s Maritime Distillery whiskey and led through a tasting flight of Harborside Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Finished at Sea Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Single Barrel Whiskey and Full Proof Whiskey. Then, the group took part in a blind tasting of two whiskeys: Buffalo Trace Stagg Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and SoNo 1420 America’s Maritime Distillery Full Proof Whiskey and rated each. SoNo 1420 America’s Maritime Distillery hosts a new Bourbon Battle each month. All of the brand’s ultra-premium, award-winning spirits are crafted in historic South Norwalk on Day Street. The brand is distributed in Connecticut by Murphy Distributors.
