Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits announced the promotion of Patrick Cassidy to Regional President, East Region, effective March 24. In this role, Cassidy reports to John Wittig, Chief Commercial Officer, and is responsible for leading all business activities in the Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island and South Carolina markets. Marty Crane, Executive Vice President, Subregional General Manager, New York & Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company of Massachusetts & Rhode Island, will report directly to Cassidy, who has held key roles across sales, trade development and general management during his 28 years at Southern Glazer’s.
