Stomping Horse Wines Make Market Appearances

By July 1, 2024Connecticut, Top News

Stomping Horse Chardonneigh was added to the menu at Tuscany at the Mohegan Sun Casino among its summer of marketing efforts. Stomping Horse was founded by horse lovers, wine lovers and philanthropists Dawn Page, Steven Shewbrooks and Byron Brewer. The team set out to create fine wine that blends their passions together in a fully realized Connecticut-based wine company whose offerings are bottled directly at the vineyard in Washington State’s Columbia Valley. Its two core offerings are Chardonneigh Washington Columbia Valley 2021, 100% Chardonnay, and Thoroughblend 2020, 65% Mourvèdre, 27% Syrah, 5% Grenache, 1% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Viognier, from Washington’s Yakima and Columbia valleys. The Stomping Horse team also celebrated the wines at Lime Rock Park to celebrate 70 years of the Jaguar Club, which counts Co-founder Shewbrooks as a member of its New York Empire Club. Also new for Stomping Horse wine fans are the brand’s colorful swag cups and tumblers, available at the many retailers where the wines are sold. The wines are distributed in Connecticut via Votto Vines.
