
Il Borro Wines from the portfolio of Centerbrook-based importer and distributor Angelini Wines Ltd. were showcased during a July pairing dinner at Shuttle Meadow Country Club in Berlin. The summer outdoor event introduced guests to a multicourse showcase of imported Italian wines including Borrorosa Sangiovese, Lamelle White Blend, Pian di Nova Syrah-Sangiovese and Toscana. Guests also enjoyed Angelini Prosecco DOC Extra Dry in cocktails and pours. Dishes crafted by Chef Michelle Landry and team included chilled Maine lobster, local heirloom tomatoes, pappardelle with lamb ragu, grilled wagyu beef and desserts of olive oil cake, Cypress Grove truffle cheese from California and biscotti. The wines were presented with each course by Angelini Wine Ltd. Co-owner Julius Angelini.
