Suntory Global Spirits has appointed Robbie Millar as Interim Chief Global Brands Officer, a newly created role. With this move, Millar, who previously served as President of Global Whiskies and Prestige, joins Suntory’s executive leadership team, reporting directly to President and CEO Greg Hughes. He will help drive demand for the company’s brands and sales for its premium spirits and RTD portfolio. Since joining the company in June 2022, Millar has successfully raised Suntory Global Spirits’ presence in Scotland and built out the company’s Prestige capabilities, a news release stated. He is an industry veteran with more than 35 years of experience from roles with Carlsberg Group, SAB Miller and Diageo among them.
