
The 13th annual Taste of Simsbury, presented by Liberty Bank, was hosted at The Riverview on Aug. 24. Co-organized by Sarah Nielsen, Executive Director, Simsbury Main Street Partnership, and Dan Forton, Executive Chef, The Barn Restaurant, the showcase hosted 22 area restaurants and 13 beverage suppliers for an evening of tastes. Guests enjoyed a variety of cuisine options from each venue paired with beverage tastes from Back East Brewing Company, Drink Mechanics, Litchfield Distillery, New England Brewing Co., New England Cider Co., RIPE Bar Juice, Stormalong Hard Cider and Waypoint Spirits, among others. Beverage sponsors included Brescome Barton and Hartley & Parker Limited, Inc., and all wine and spirits were supplied by The Wine House and Owner Bill Daum.
