
The inaugural Taste of SoNo was hosted at the Magnificent Room at The SoNo Collection in Norwalk on May 22. Hosted by Connecticut Foodshare, the event showcased culinary talent from local eateries with cooking demonstrations by the David Alan Hospitality Group and Jeff Taibe, Co-owner and Executive Chef, Bar Bushido. To drink, guests enjoyed cocktails created by Event Mixologist Eric Ribeiro, spirits from Litchfield Distillery and Washington Prime, and beer from Two Roads Brewing Company and Spacecat Brewing Company. Sponsored by Stop & Shop, Xfinity, BMW of Darien, LAZ, Safelite, AT&T, Total Mortgage and Guardian, the event benefited Connecticut Foodshare, an organization working to address hunger by working with community food donors, mobilizing volunteers and partnering with community food banks.
