Annual Event Features Tastes to Benefit Narragansett Bay

Save the Bay, the charitable organization dedicated to the preservation of Narragansett Bay, hosted its annual Taste of the Bay fundraising event at the Bay Center in Providence on June 13. The 2019 event featured food and drink from more than 30 vendors, including local restaurants, shellfish purveyors and bakeries. Absolut Vodka donated $5,000 to Save the Bay’s efforts, as part of its larger global marketing campaign, “Planet Earth’s Favorite Vodka,” and served samples of its showcased expressions, Absolut Juice Strawberry and Apple. Guests also enjoyed beverages from beer, wine and spirits suppliers including Grey Sail Brewing, KEEL Vodka, Sons of Liberty Beer & Spirits Co., Narragansett Beer, Whalers Brewing Company, Newport Craft Brewing & Distilling Co., Foolproof Brewing Company, Gooseneck Vineyards and Fishers Island Lemonade, among other brands.
