The Wines Bros., based in Pawtucket, welcomed new wines from Languedoc, Berlou, France, to its portfolio: Domaine de Cambis, 2017 Rosé, AOP Saint-Chinian, Cinsault and 2016 Barroco, Cinsault. Domaine de Cambis was founded in 2002 by Annick Perolari. Located in the heart of the Saint Chinian appellation in the western Occitanie part of the Languedoc, the vineyard patchwork is set amidst a Mediterranean biodiversity. The 2017 rosé is 70% Cinsault and 30% Syrah, an “elegant rosé with some nice freshness and a good aromatic concentration,” which pairs well with salads, grilled white meat and Asian cuisine. The 2016 Barroco is a 100% Cinsault and is “both simple, due to the pure Cinsault, and complex when tasting it.”
