The Wine Store and the Misquamicut Business Association hosted the fourth annual Misquamicut Craft Beer & Wine Tasting at Venice Restaurant in Westerly on March 14. Guests enjoyed plentiful pours of craft beer and wine paired with bites from local restaurants. Musical guest Ed Peabody and the Big Blue Thang played the blues live with special guests Sugar Ray Norcia and Bobby Christina. Event proceeds benefited the efforts of the Misquamicut Business Association, a nonprofit led by local business owners whose mission is to promote events and maintain the Misquamicut Beach area, including the Road and Beach Area Cleanup Crew, as well as family beach events.
