
Two Roads Brewing Company hosted a beer-pairing dinner on its Area Two Production Floor in Stratford on March 6. During the Taste of Italy Pairing Dinner, guests enjoyed a five-course dining experience paired with Two Roads brews that complemented the taste of each dish, including the brewery’s exclusive special release, its new Due Strade Italian Pilsner. Director of Hospitality Ben Pare emceed the event and introduced each food pairing, while Brewmaster Phil Markowski educated guests on each beer.

- The Brewers Negroni, a blend of Two Roads Distilling Co. London Dry Gin, Two Roads Road 2 Ruin Double IPA, cherry bitters and cherry juice made from the brewery’s cherry trees.
- Calabrian pepper and scamorza ravioli from Nuovo Pasta in Stratford with local honey, minted tomato passata, shaved Parmigiano-Reggiano and crispy basil was paired with Two Roads Lil’ Juicy Hazy IPA.
- A pour of Two Roads Cruise Control Lager.
- Nuovo Pasta’s basil gnocchi with guanciale, rosemary, sweet onion, Parmesan cream and toasted herb breadcrumbs was paired with Two Roads Cruise Control Lager.
- Jones Family Farms red wine braised veal shank, saffron risotto Milanese, balsamic reduction, fresh thyme and wilted mustard greens was paired with Two Roads Due Strade Italian Pilsner.

- Dessert was chocolate custard with a pastry crust, nocciola gelato and toasted hazelnut paired with Two Roads Distilling Co. Limoncello.
