
Allan S. Goodman highlighted Fernet Branca at an “UnFernetable Summer Cocktail Competition” at Conspiracy in Middletown on July 18. Ten local bartenders competed for the top slot, where Fernet Branca, the famed amaro brand, was the featured ingredient. In first place was Christine Short of Zaragoza Restaurant, second place was Rachel Markoja of Division West and in third place was Clarissa LoNero of Little River Restoratives. Guests sipped tiki and tropical cocktails, all showcasing Fernet Branca, as they watched the competition.
