Votto Vines hosted its Gems of Italy Fall Portfolio Tasting at its Hamden headquarters on Sept. 10. The Votto Vines team poured top Italian wines from dozens of different appellations with several producers in attendance, including Paolo Nevini and Alessandro Cardini of Castelli del Grevepesa of Tuscany, Giampaolo Tabarrini of Azienda Agricola Tabarrini in Umbria, Federico Cosulich of Tenuta di Collalbrigo in Veneto and the domestic sales team from Piedmont’s Cantina Montaribaldi. At the event, the team and accounts also launched several new brands from Casa Vinicola Caldirola, including La Cacciatora Puglia Pinot Grigio IGT and Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC, as well as a new and exciting sparkling Pinot Grigio called Onda Blu Terre Siciliane Lucido Pinot Grigio Frizzante IGT NV. All are now available for purchase across Connecticut.
