Johnson Brothers of Rhode Island, in collaboration with Zonin 1821, hosted a pizza and wine dinner at Federal Hill Pizza in Warren on Feb. 13. The Sip & Sauced event showcased several fine Italian wines, which were introduced to guests by Jill Hamilton, Sales Consultant, Johnson Brothers, and Antonio Delle Donne, New England Regional Manager, Zonin 1821. Special guest Master Pizzaiolo Billy Manzo Jr. was in attendance to answer guests’ questions on how to make the best pies. To eat, guests enjoyed several courses of small plates by Chef Rory Smith and pizza by Manzo. During the evening, guests tasted Castello di Albola Chianti Classico 2021, Castello del Poggio Peachy Dreams Peach Moscato, Ca’ Bolani Pinot Grigio 2022 and Ca’ Bolani Sauvignon Blanc 2022. Guests were given frozen Billy Manzo pizzas as a parting gift.
