
Coast Guard House in Narragansett hosted a New Zealand Wine Boot Camp event for guests on Feb. 9 in its ocean-view Anchor Room. Guests enjoyed tasting through Mahi Marlborough Pinot Gris, Kumeu River Coddington Chardonnay, Villa Maria Reserve Pinot Noir, Craggy Range Single Vineyard Pinot Noir and Villa Maria Ngakirikiri Gimblett Gravels, as well as learning about each wine’s production and region. Elisa Wybraniec, DWS and Wine Director, led guests through the day’s event, followed by guests choosing their favorite wine from the batch that day: Villa Maria Ngakirikiri Gimblett Gravels. Coast Guard House hosts regularly scheduled Wine Boot Camp Sunday sessions for wine aficionados and novices, each showcasing worldwide selections.
