Renowned winemaker Joel Gott recently visited Connecticut and was hosted by Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI). The local wine community enjoyed Gott’s tour through a variety of venues, which culminated with an educational dinner at Bricco in Glastonbury. Attended by members of the CDI Diamond and New England divisions, the event offered a unique opportunity to spend quality time with Gott and learn firsthand about his winemaking process while sampling a selection of acclaimed wines. Gott shared his journey in the wine industry, providing insights into the challenges and triumphs he has faced, CDI representatives said. Gott is a fourth-generation California vintner, and a wine and food entrepreneur. Since 1996, Gott has created his namesake wines from regions in California, Oregon and Washington, blended to create more balanced, clean, complex and elegant wines.
