
The Rhode Island Hospitality Association (RIHA) hosted its continuing Women in Hospitality event series on Aug. 2 More than 80 guests enjoyed “Drinks on the River,” sponsored by BankNewport and hosted by the Providence River Boat Company and the Hot Club. The afternoon included a guided tour down the Providence River, followed by a riverfront cocktail party at the Hot Club, catered by Pranzi Catering & Events. “It can’t be overstated how much our industry − like so many others − has been through,” said Dale J. Venturini, President & CEO, RIHA. “Drinks on the River was the perfect way for the women in our industry to reconnect, share what they’ve learned, and lean on one another as we prepare to take on the next phase of the pandemic.” The event benefited the Rhode Island Hospitality Education Fund.
