Beam Suntory donated $100,000 to Operation Homefront, a national nonprofit that provides emergency financial and other assistance to military families and wounded military personnel. Beam Suntory’s donation specifically supported the program Holiday Meals for Military, through which the company provided 8,500 holiday meals to families on 28 U.S. military bases. In addition to their donation, employees volunteered to pack meals in Illinois and Tennessee for military families. Beam Suntory has donated more than $2.5 million to Operation Homefront since 2006.
