Serving Up: Bite the Bulleit at Killer B

Killer B’s beverage program highlights brown liquors, as bourbon is one of the “4 Bs” — along with burgers, bacon and beer — in its name and in all aspects of the restaurant. Its menu showcases the flavors that enhance these offerings, alone or combined, with a creative, decadent-yet-approachable execution. A large craft beer and cocktail selection add to the possibilities.

Bartender: Tierney MacDaniel

Cocktail: Bite the Bulleit

Recipe:

  • 2 oz. Bulleit Bourbon
  • Teaspoon maple syrup
  • .25 oz. Lime juice
  • .5 oz. Orange juice
  • Red Bull for topping
  • Two slices of jalapeno

“Bourbons have a natural smoky flavor and we wanted to bring that to life in a unique way for our guests. Our smoked bourbon cocktails are something cocktail enthusiasts could read about and now it’s accessible to them,” said Owner Greg Pettinella. “The [smoked cocktails] have been very well-received and a customer favorite.”
