
The United States Bartenders’ Guild Rhode Island (USBG RI) chapter and MS Walker hosted a visit with Heaven Hill Distilleries’ National Brand Educator, Lynn House, at Black Sheep in Providence on April 25. House presented “Beyond the Recipe: Secrets to Writing a Creative, Well-Balanced and Profitable Beverage Menu,” which gave trade guests advice and insight on how to develop cocktail menus. Participants enjoyed light fare provided by Black Sheep along with cocktails mixed with spirits from Heaven Hill Brands, including PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur, Lunazul Tequila and Larceny Kentucky Straight Bourbon.

- Marco Meza, Co-owner, Black Sheep, created two cocktails for the event showcasing spirits from Heaven Hill brands.
- The signature pink cocktail, “A Sunburn,” features Luna Azul, PAMA and lemon juice, topped with champagne. The second is Meza’s variation on a classic whiskey sour, featuring Larceny Kentucky Straight Bourbon and Domaine Canton Ginger Liqueur.
