
Diageo hosted a brand education event highlighting reserve tequila at Tequila Mockingbird in New Canaan on October 25. Agave expert Jorge Raptis, Diageo Reserve National Educator, Latin Spirits, led guests through an exploration of tequila, mezcal and spirits from Mexico, giving background on the cultivation of agave and its terroir. Guests had the opportunity to taste cooked agave and sample limited-edition spirits not available in the U.S. as part of the tasting experience.
