Mancini Beverage – C&C Distributors celebrated the Rhode Island launch of Heineken 0.0 at the G Pub Rooftop in Providence on January 10. Members of the Mancini Beverage sales team, along with representatives from Heineken USA, celebrated the arrival of the new alcohol-free beer accompanied by a brand education session. Heineken 0.0, marketed as an alternative to beer with alcohol, is available in six-pack bottles and cans, with 69 calories, 0% ABV. The nonalcoholic lager offering was created by Heineken’s Global Master Brewer Willem van Waesberghe. Brewed with a unique recipe for a distinct balanced taste using traditional ingredients such as malted barley and hop extract, it is then fermented with Heineken’s A-yeast before the alcohol is removed.
