East Coast Beverage launched several new brands, now available in Rhode Island. In beer, from Baja Brewing Company, founded in 2006 and the first brewery in the state of Baja California Sur, Mexico, new imports include Escorpian Black Ale. Cabotella Blond Ale, Por Favor IPA and La Surfa Baja Lager. New spirits, first, from France comes Mont Blanc Vodka, produced in Cognac using only the finest wheat and pure, limestone-filtered water, distilled six times for a complex and delicate spirit with a delightful, velvety finish; and from India, Rampur Asava Indian Single Malt Whisky, a rich marriage of American Bourbon barrels and Indian Cabernet Sauvignon casks. New wine market entry, Stel+Mar, offers three crowd-pleasing and award-winning California wines at approachable prices, in a California Cabernet Sauvignon North Coast, Chardonnay and Rosé.
- New beer imports from Baja Brewing Company: Escorpian Black Ale, Cabotella Blond Ale, Por Favor IPA and La Surfa Baja Lager.
- Mont Blanc Vodka, made in Cognac, France, offers a refined, rich flavor from winter wheat grown around northern France and pristine spring water in the Cognac region.
- Rampur Asava Indian Single Malt Whisky, finished in Indian red wine casks, creates a balance of manuka honey sweetness, spicy oak and vanilla, all supported by dry Indian red wine notes.
- Founders Chris Noll and Justin Dumitrescu met through their children, Stella and Marcus, and Stel+Mar was born. Bottle labels by Toronto-based artist Stephanie Cheng reflect a California aesthete shown on Stel+Mar Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Rosé.
