Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI) recently honored the winner of the inaugural Hendrick’s Cup at a ceremony held by the Ron Foley Foundation at Artisan Southport. Elaine Danmeyer, General Manager, Artisan Southport, was given the award for raising the most funds during Pancreatic Cancer Month in November 2021 for the Ron Foley Foundation, a local charity dedicated to pancreatic cancer awareness. CDI spearheaded the Battle of the Bars fundraiser, with Artisan Southport bringing in the most raised through sales of its specialty craft cocktail, the Purple Orchid, which featured Henrick’s Gin. During the March ceremony, which was attended by Barbara Foley, Founder, Ron Foley Foundation, and Tony Sisti, Community Ambassador, Ron Foley Foundation, along with staff from CDI and William Grant & Sons, Danmeyer formally presented the foundation with the check in the amount of $8,249 from funds raised through Artisan Southport’s efforts.
