Allagash Brewing Company Hosts Tap Takeover at Eli Cannon’s

Eli Cannon’s of Middletown hosted a Tap Takeover with Portland, Maine’s Allagash Brewing Company on May 18 featuring guests Rob Tod, the Founder and Brewer of Allagash Brewing Company and Dan Nieves, Field Sales Representative at Allagash Brewing Company. The tap takeover featured 30 different Allagash brews on tap including Hoppy Table Beer, a beer with notes of citrus and stone fruit with a hoppy balance; Sixteen Counties, with citrus and light hops made with grain malted and grown in Maine; St. Klippenstein, a bourbon-barrel aged Belgian-style stout; Astrid, a Saison aged in Aquavit barrels; Little Sal, a sour red ale aged on lowbush blueberries; and Hibernal Fluxus 2016, a creamy Belgian stout brewed with figs; as well as the classic Allagash White, a Belgian-style beer, among many others. Guests were able to speak with Tod and Nieves about the beer styles and answer questions about Allagash production. The Tap Takeover also featured an Allagash VIP prize pack raffle for guests at the end of the night.
