Louisville, Kentucky-based Angel’s Envy announced Owen Martin as Master Distiller, the first appointed Master Distiller since Co-founder and Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson’s passing in 2013. With a mid-October start date, Martin now leads all aspects of production and oversees innovation for its annual Cask Strength program and limited-release Cellar Collection and Founder’s Collection programs. Martin joins from a six-year tenure at Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey. Working at the newly expanded distillery in downtown Louisville, Martin will lead the production team to produce innovative finished whiskeys while continuing to produce its highly acclaimed core offerings: Angel’s Envy Kentucky Straight Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels and Angel’s Envy Rye Whiskey Finished in Caribbean Rum Casks.
