
Atlantic Beverage Distributors welcomed new spirits to its portfolio in Rhode Island: Miyasaka Brewing Company Sake and ASW Distillery. First from Nagano, Japan, comes three new sake expressions from producer Miyasaka Brewing Company: Okuden Kanzukuri Junmai, Nanago (Number Seven) Junmai Daiginjo and SHIRO (White) Junmai Ginjo. The brewery where it is made was founded in 1662 and reflects the region’s craftsmanship and history dating back to its silk spinning roots. Its proprietary strain of No. 7 Yeast is a key ingredient in its renowned sakes. Atlanta, Georgia’s ASW Distillery has been crafting award-winning spirits since 2018. New to the state are its Winterville Gin, Tire Fire Heavily Peated Single Malt Whiskey, Fiddler Unison Bourbon, Fiddler Georgia Heartwood Single Barrel and Resurgens Rye.
- Okuden Kanzukuri Junmai, made with Masumi No. 7 Yeast and rice polished to 70% remaining, 15% ABV; Nanago (Number Seven) Junmai Daiginjo, made with Masumi No. 7 Yeast and rice polished to 40% remaining, 15% ABV; and SHIRO (White) Junmai Ginjo, made with Masumi No. 7 Yeast and rice polished to 55% remaining, 12% ABV.
- ASW Distillery’s spirits include Winterville Gin, Tire Fire Heavily Peated Single Malt Whiskey, Fiddler Unison Bourbon, Fiddler Georgia Heartwood Single Barrel and Resurgens Rye, all new to Rhode Island.
