Connecticut-made brand Up N’ Down Rock and Bourbon, in collaboration with wholesaler Brescome Barton, was showcased during a beer- and whiskey-pairing dinner at Concentric Brewing Company’s dining venue and kitchen, Graze, on Jan. 26. During the themed dinner called Up in Smoke at the Portland brewery, guests enjoyed five courses prepared by Head Chef Chris Sassi paired with Up N’ Down Rock and Bourbon. Justin Morales, Co-founder, Up N’ Down Rock and Bourbon, led guests through a tasting of each expression: Up N’ Down Rock and Bourbon, Up N’ Down Rock and Bourbon Colonel’s Cut and Up N’ Down Rock and Bourbon Pumpkin Mash. Guests had the option to enter a raffle to win a free bottle of Up N’ Down Rock and Bourbon Colonel’s Cut, the brand’s limited-edition 118-proof bourbon.
