By May 24, 2020Connecticut, Top News

Belle Meade Bourbon’s labels pay tribute to the namesake family farm’s famed stallions. Belle Meade bourbons include Sour Mash Straight Whiskey Bourbon, Bourbon Sherry Finish, Bourbon XO Cognac Finish, Bourbon Madeira Cask Finish and Cask Strength Reserve Bourbon.

Allan S. Goodman, Inc., and Eder Bros., Inc., welcomed Belle Meade Bourbon, aged in Nashville, Tennessee, to the state. Belle Meade Bourbon is an award-winning pre-Prohibition bourbon whiskey brand brought to market by Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery. Starting in 1878, Belle Meade was producing nearly 380,000 gallons of whiskey a year up until 1909. The brand was revived in 2006 by the grandsons of founder Charlie Nelson, adhering to the authenticity and legacy of the bourbons from the past. Available expressions include Sour Mash Straight Whiskey Bourbon, Bourbon Sherry Finish, Bourbon XO Cognac Finish, Bourbon Madeira Cask Finish and Cask Strength Reserve Bourbon.
