Renée Allen, founder and director of the Wine Institute of New England, led intensive classes for local beverage professionals as part of the institutes’s ongoing course offerings. The group shown attended weekly night clases from September through December in preparation to sit for the Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) exam, overseen by the Society of Wine Educators (SWE). The individuals each took their final CSW exam in December, and then celebrated the completion of their class at The Black Sheep in Niantic.
