Brescome Barton showcased brews from Victory Brewing Company and Rupee Beer during a pairing dinner at Brewport Brewing Co. in Bridgeport on Dec. 6. Hosted by Brescome Barton’s Chris Munk, Account Development Manager, A Change of Seasons Dinner showcased Victory Brewing Company Merry Monkey Belgian Style Ale and Rupee Premium Lager Beer. To eat, guests enjoyed a hearty salad to start, featuring sweet and spicy roasted butternut squash, goat cheese with cranberry and orange zest, herb-roasted turkey and seasoned croutons topped with toasted pumpkin seeds and maple vinaigrette. Next, guests enjoyed their choice of four pizzas: the Po-Boy, topped with light mozzarella, fried shrimp, pickled onions, tomato, scallions and Louisiana remoulade sauce; the Fall Feast, featuring seasoned ricotta sausage, eggplant and roasted fennel with a fig sauce drizzle; the Pot Roast, with smoked mozzarella, herb-roasted potatoes, seasoned leeks, short ribs and savory country gravy; and the Dessert Pie, a pineapple upside-down pizza. Beer from Victory Brewing Company and Rupee Beer are distributed in the state through Brescome Barton.
