Napa Valley-based C. Mondavi & Family acquired Bordeaux-based wine brand French Blue rosé in July. The acquisition of the French Blue brand from Flying Blue Imports marks the first time that C. Mondavi & Family looked outside California for any wines in its portfolio. French Blue Bordeaux Rosé is already in the American market, and C. Mondavi is adding a French Blue Bordeaux Sauvignon Blanc with the 2019 vintage. French Blue was founded in 2015 by Entrepreneur Roger Scommegna and Winemaker Stephanie Rivin.
