Maison Louis Latour Grand Cru Tasting @ The Ocean House

Watch Hill’s Ocean House, along with MS Walker of Rhode Island will offer a tasting of 20 Grand Cru wines from Maison Louis Latour. Led by Latour’s Ambassador Emeritus Andy Fruzzetti, guests will have the opportunity to taste both white and red burgundies while learning about the famed family-run négociant-éleveur and its two centuries of winemaking tradition and innovation. A portion of ticket sale proceeds will be donated to the Ocean House Foundation for Charitable Giving.

Historic Bowen’s Wharf in downtown Newport will host the 32nd annual Bowen’s Wharf Seafood Festival, on Oct. 14-15, 2023. During the two-day event, guests will enjoy fresh seafood straight from local fishers and neighborhood restaurants and vendors, along with dishes from local restaurants, craft beer and signature cocktails, with the backdrop of an eclectic mix of music from local bands. Billed as one of the “10 Fabulous Fall Festivals on the Coast” by Coastal Living magazine, proceeds from festival bars benefited Oliver Hazard Perry, Rhode Island’s 200-foot official sailing education vessel.
