A Wine & Rosecliff Gala will take place as part of the Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival in the Rosecliff ballroom on Friday, Sept. 21, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Guests will have the chance to enjoy fine wines and food from award-winning chefs, along with live music and dancing. The Newport Wine & Food Festival will continue with a Vintner Dinner at Rosecliff on Saturday, September 22, from 7:00 to 10:30 p.m. The evening will feature vintners, chefs, sommeliers and wine & food enthusiasts for a dinner that will take guests “around the world” with food and wine. Guests will enjoy a champagne reception on the terrace followed by a five-course dinner prepared by award-winning chefs. Each course will be paired with select wines presented by a vintner who will speak about the winery, the specific wine, the vintage and why it pairs with the dish. Cocktail attire, jackets and ties suggested. Valet parking will be provided.

The weekend schedule of events includes the Rosecliff Seminar Series, offering a variety of 50-person wine and spirits seminars, a Saturday night Vintner Dinner, and an elegant Sunday Brunch at Rosecliff. All proceeds from the Newport Mansions Wine and Food Festival benefit the historic preservation efforts of The Preservation Society of Newport County, Rhode Island, a non-profit organization accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and dedicated to preserving and interpreting the area’s historic architecture, landscapes and decorative arts. Taste of Rhode Island is a delicious celebration of Rhode Island’s great food, local spirits and live entertainment. Hosted by Pat Paolino, Pat Cruz Events and Lupe Aguilar, Rhody Foody, more than 50 of the state’s best restaurants, bakeries, caterers, wineries and breweries will be showcasing their offerings.
