Powder Ridge Mountain Park & Resort in Middlefield will host a craft beer fest on Oct. 1. Guests will enjoy hundreds of beers from more than 50 craft breweries, along with live music throughout the day and an evening concert by Small Town Roots. Guests will have the opportunity to shop in the vendor village. Other entertainment will include a stein holding competition and women’s and men’s keg toss competitions. Haunting at the Ridge, available with the purchase of a separate pass, begins at 6:30 PM.
The sixth-annual Ocean State Waves Brew Tour, offering locally brewed craft beers, fine wines and a delicious menu, will take place on Dec. 17, 2022. Presented by MIXX 99.3, the official Radio Partner of the Ocean State Waves, the event will be held at the Narragansett Towers, located right at the Sea Wall in Narragansett. Black Hog Brewing Company will host its sixth-annual Barrel Aged Brewfest at its taproom in Oxford on January 18. Guests will enjoy 2 oz. pours of more than 50 exclusive barrel aged beers from Black Hog and guest breweries. Food will be provided by Square Peg Pizzeria. Event proceeds will benefit the Vie for Kids Foundation. Must be 21+ years of age or older to attend. No children, babies or pets permitted.
The Thread City Hop Fest, a food and craft beer tasting event will take place on at Jillson Square in Willimantic on May 21, 2023. Attendees will enjoy samples from more than 55 breweries from throughout New England. This event is rain or shine. Organized by the Willimantic Brewing Company on behalf of Willimantic Renaissance, Inc., proceeds from the Hop Fest benefit The No Freeze Project, Willimantic Renaissance, Inc. and Vulturetown Arts. Event is 21+. No children or pets allowed.
The 7th annual Ninety9Bottles Craft Beer Festival will take place at Oyster Shell Park in Norwalk on June 3, offering guests samples of more than 75 New England craft beer selections. While enjoying both new brews and familiar favorites and taking in views of Norwarlk Harbor, guests will also be treated to live music from top local acts and local fare from popular food trucks. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Adoption Hope Foundation, a Fairfield-based charity whose mission is to provide grants for people seeking to build their families through adoption.

Guests will also be able to purchase eats from local food trucks. A portion of event proceeds will be donated to athletic scholarships for Stratford students. Event is 21+.
The second Newport Oktoberfest will take place at Fort Adams State Park on Sept. 16. Hosted by the Fort Adams Trust and Ragged Island Brewing Co., the festival will bring authentic German beer, wine, food and live music to the Ocean State, with proceeds benefiting the Fort Adams Trust, a non-profit organization working to preserve the historic Fort Adams State Park, a 200-year-old military fort turned state park situated on the mouth of Newport Harbor. Guests will enjoy tastes of Weihenstephan, Paulaner and Spaten beer from Ragged Island Brewing Co., Taproot Brewery and Rejects Beer Co. and food from local caterers and vendors. “Celebrating Oktoberfest in the shadow of Fort Adams, with a view of the Claiborne Pell Bridge, is truly a spectacular afternoon,” says Matt Gray, Owner, Ragged Island Brewing Company. “The added bonus of supporting the Fort Adams Trust makes this event a must-have on your calendar.”
The CT Brewers Guild will host its sixth-annual CT Craft Beer Fest at Hartford’s Connecticut Convention Center on April 20, 2024. Guests will enjoy pours from more than 60 craft breweries throughout the afternoon, beginning with a VIP session at 1:30 PM. All proceeds will benefit the CT Brewers Guild to help further the goals of the craft beer movement in Connecticut.
