Beervana Fest 2019 @ Rhodes on the Pawtuxet

Beervana Fest 2019 will take place at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet on Saturday, October 26, 2019. During two tasting sessions, the experience will include more than 60 beer tables spread out over two floors at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet, giving guests the chance to taste more than 250 craft beers. An evening with G. Love and Chef Kev D. is a holiday event featuring live music from Gold-album selling musician G.Love with food from award-winning Food Network Chef Kev D. Presented by Alex and Ani, Belcourt of Newport & Advertise for America, with special guest Chad Hollister, the evening will begin with a VIP Kick-Off Party featuring signature KEEL Vodka cocktails, Sakonnet Vineyard Wines, craft beer and rum from Newport Craft, local restaurant tastings and an exclusive live culinary demo and tasting with Food Network Chef Kev D. A portion of ticket sales will benefit The Light Foundation, an organization working to collaborate with nonprofit organizations to provide life-changing opportunities for youth.

Beervana Presents NOIPA Fest @ WaterFire Arts Center

A new event from the Beervana Fest team. NOIPA Fest: is an exploration and celebration of some of the 80-plus other delicious craft beer styles. A note from the event producers says: “Everybody loves IPAs! When we began Beervana Fest way back in 2008, our mission was to bring craft beer front and center into the spotlight and help to enlighten the community as to what a big world Craft Beer was and could be … we also felt that the market has a need to learn about the many beautiful and exciting classic styles that are really not getting much exposure in the current world.” Skipping IPAs, the goal is to “get the world excited and invigorated about” Goses, Milds, Kölsch, Gruits, Porters, Barley Wines, Saisons, Dubbels, the many types of Bocks, Wee Heavys and all the Pilsner varieties among other styles. NOIPA FEST will explore and celebrate all of the other delicious and diverse styles of craft beer and bring them together. Ticket includes tasting glass, 2 oz. pours of some of the most delicious and diverse beers in the world.

An Evening Uncorked! @ WaterFire Arts Center

Rhode Island PBS will host its annual food and wine event, “An Evening Uncorked!” on April 21 at the WaterFire Arts Center in Providence. Returning for its 23rd year, the event will feature WJAR’s Mario Hilario as Event Emcee and Chef Ming Tsai, host of the PBS show, Simply Ming, as its celebrity guest, with a book signing by Ming, with his new book, Simply Ming One-Pot Meals. Guests will enjoy a variety of drink tastes from local wholesalers, fine wines from Gasbarro’s Wines and Brands of Portugal, spirits from Boston Harbor Distillery, KEEL Vodka, Rhode Island Spirits and Stonecutter Spirits; and beer from Narragansett Beer and Whalers Brewing Company, paired with food from top Rhode Island eateries. Showcased venues will include Blaze, Bywater, Chapel Grille, Diego’s Eastside, Gracie’s, Luigi’s, Pot Au Feu, Russel Morin Catering & Events, The Capital Grille and Coast Guard House. Event is 21+.
