Hosted  by the RI Hospitality Association (RIHA), the seminar will provide updated information about the Restaurant & Lodging industries and the necessary facts to plan budgets, strategies, and marketing action steps for the next year. Panelists will discuss opportunities for growth, challenges, and how the market in Rhode Island compares with regional and the national economic outlook. Presenters:

  • Hudson Riehle, SR. VP of Research/Information, National Restaurant Association will present critical information that will help Rhode Island restaurateurs get ahead of the competition.
  • Rachel Roginsky, Principal, Pinnacle Advisory Group presents the lodging industry with the most up to date statistics and economic overview specific to Rhode Island.
  • Heather R. Singleton, RIHA’s Chief Operating Officer will present on current workforce development challenges and trends in the Rhode Island hospitality industry.

The Rhode Island Brew Fest is an annual celebration of the Rhode Island craft brewing with 60+ breweries sampling 200+ beers. The festival has two ticketed sessions.  This is a 21+ event. No one under the age of 21 will be admitted. No exceptions. ID’s are checked at the entrance. All beverage samples are included in ticket, as well as live music, access to food vendors and much more. Every attendee will receive a custom glass as they exit the festival.

First Session: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM; Second Session: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Industry experts will discuss critical forecasting of trends in the Hospitality Industry. Speakers will include Hudson Riehle, SR. VP of Research/Information of the National Restaurant Association, who will present critical information that will help Rhode Island restaurateurs get ahead of the competition; Rachel Roginsky, Principal, Pinnacle Advisory Group presents the lodging industry with the most up to date statistics and economic overview specific to Rhode Island; and Heather Singleton, COO, RI Hospitality Association, who will discuss the workforce challenges facing the hospitality industry in the wake of COVID-19. THE 2022 EVENT IS SOLD OUT.

The Rhode Island Brew Fest is a celebration of American craft beer, featuring the best brews RI and New England have to offer, hosted at the WaterFire Arts Center in Providence in January for a celebration of American craft breweries. A showcase of 55+ breweries with more than 175 beers to sample from, the event will have two, three-hour sampling sessions from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m and 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Each session will feature live music, local vendors, and a food court.
The event is held at at WaterFire Providence, a champion of the independent Rhode Island arts scene since 1994. The festival supports attending brewers by purchasing all of their product at the festival. Unlike many beer festivals, there are no booth fees for brewers, we actually pay them to participate on top of donating a portion of every ticket sold to the Rhode Island Brewers Guild.

All attendees must provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a qualifying negative COVID-19 test to gain entry to the 2022 festival. Individuals are considered “fully vaccinated” against COVID-19 at least 14 days after they have received the second dose in a two-dose series (e.g. Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna) or at least 14 days after they have received a single-dose vaccine (e.g. Johnson and Johnson/Janssen). More information: covid.ri.gov/vaccination

ACCEPTED FORMS OF PROOF OF FULL VACCINATION
The original vaccination card or a digital copy of the vaccination card that can be checked against a valid ID.

ACCEPTED FORMS OF COVID-19 TESTS
Aprintout or digital copy of a negative PCR/molecular test (sampled within 72 hours of the event) or a negative rapid/antigen test (sampled within 24 hours of the event) administered by a healthcare professional that includes their name and the date of the test as proof. Self-administered at-home rapid/antigen tests will not be accepted.

The Rhode Island Brew Fest is a 21+ event. No one under the legal age will be admitted, including minors, children, infants, and babies. No pets allowed.

The 8th annual Crazy Brew Bash will take place at the Mount Southington Ski Area on Sept. 23 featuring hundreds of beers from more than 70 local craft breweries, along with select wines, spirits and seltzers. Entertainment will include live music, a Bloody Mary contest, corn hole and more with eats from a variety of food truck vendors. Sponsored by Crazy Bruce’s Liquors, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the REACH foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of children through educational programs and scholarships. There will also be a toy drive at the event to collect new, unwrapped toys to donated to children in need this holiday season.

The 11th Annual Rhode Island Brew Fest offers a celebration of American craft brewers with samples from 50+ breweries and over 200 styles of beer. All beverage samples are included with ticket. Access to food vendors and much more; every attendee will receive a custom glass as they exit the festival. The Rhode Island Brew Fest provides unlimited sampling of all attending breweries and purchases all beer directly from the breweries in order to support the craft brew industry and a portion of every ticket sold is donated to the Rhode Island Brewers Guild. The Rhode Island Brew Fest is a private, ticketed, 21+ event. No one without a ticket or under the legal age will be admitted, including minors, children, infants and babies.
