Newport Craft Brew Race 2023 @ Fort Adams State Park

The Newport Craft Brew Race will celebrate its annual fun run on July 22 with a walk or run 5K followed by a craft beer festival with more than 30 participating local, regional and national breweries on the grounds of Fort Adams State Park. All 5k participants and festival-goers will receive a pint glass and entry to the festival with ticket purchase, including access to beer sampling, live music, vendors and food trucks. Produced by Gray Matter Marketing, a portion of the proceeds from the Craft Brew Race Newport benefit the Rhode Island Brewer’s Guild in support of the growth of craft beer and brewing in Rhode Island. Greenwich Wine + Food Festival Presents The Big Easy @ The Capitol Theatre

The annual Greenwich Wine + Food Festival is a multi-day event highlighting the national, international and local food and beverage industry and featuring demos from multiple celebrity chefs. After a three-year hiatus, this year’s 10th-annual festival kicks off with The Big Easy, a celebration of the flavors and music of New Orleans, at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on Oct. 1, 2022. The dine-around event will feature acclaimed chefs serving up signature dishes, paired with the iconic cocktails of Bourbon Street, such as Hurricanes and Mudslides, local craft beer and wine. Guests will also experience live music paying homage to the culture of New Orleans, by artists to be announced soon. The 2022 class of Serendipity’s Most Innovative Chefs will also be honored: Steven Chen, MIKU, Greenwich; Will Friedman, The Whelk, Westport; Jared Sippel, L’Ostal, Darien; and Renee Touponce, Oyster Club, Mystic. A portion of the proceeds from the 2022 Greenwich Wine + Food Festival will benefit non-profits The Jacques Pépin Foundation and Wholesome Wave. Premium sponsors include Wagoneer, Compass and Greenwich Hospital. Additional events will be announced soon.
