
Prompted by the enthusiastic response to Carnivor Cabernet Sauvignon, the brand has released a 2015 Zinfandel. Grown mostly in the Lodi, an AVA well suited for Zinfandel, the wine is full-bodied and bold, with dark fruit flavors (blackberry, boysenberry, plum), hints of spice and mocha, and a long, smooth finish. A touch of Cabernet is blended in to enhance color and structure, and Merlot to ensure a soft mouthfeel.
