CDI Commemorates Two Longtime Employees

CDI’s Kevin Mariconda was fêted at a retirement party after working for CDI for 44 years. He was presented with his “retired” sales number 116.

Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), celebrated two employees in March: one for a milestone anniversary of five decades and one for retiring after 44 years. Larry Goldstein, Sales Representative of E. & J. Gallo brands, marked his 50th year of service with CDI. He started his career in 1973 at Gallo Wine Merchants in North Haven and has been an integral part of the Connecticut wine and spirits industry ever since, the company said. John Slocum, President of CDI, expressed his gratitude to Goldstein for his contributions, saying, “Larry’s knowledge and expertise have been invaluable to our company, and we’re honored to have him on our team. His dedication and passion for the business have been the driving force behind his longevity and success. He has established himself as a trusted sales representative and a reliable source of expertise for [CDI]. We wish him many more years of service and success.” Kevin Mariconda was fêted at a retirement party after working for CDI for 44 years. During the event, he was presented with his “retired” sales number 116: the commemorative jersey that will hang in the company’s sales meeting room. Mariconda was honored for his dedication and significant contributions to the company and the Fairfield County community. “He is known for providing exceptional service and expert advice to his customers, making him a respected member of the industry, with a legacy of hard work and a commitment to excellence that will continue to inspire his colleagues at CDI,” Slocum said. “CDI wishes him all the best in his future endeavors. His many years of service and dedication to the company and the industry will not be forgotten, and he will be missed by all.”
