(CDI) launched several new products in the month of April: Kendall-Jackson “Vintner’s Reserve” Pinot Gris, Casa Dragones Joven and SomruS, The Original Indian Cream Liqueur. Additionally, CDI launched the Art of Patrón contest to its salesforce. Patrón’s national contest encourages contestants to use the “iconic bottles as a one-of-a-kind canvas” and the winning entrant will receive $10,000 plus accompanying accolades. Chicago-based SomPriya Fine Spirits’ SomruS was awarded 94 points by Wine Enthusiast, and was designated one of the “Top 50 Spirits of 2014” by the magazine. SomruS is a blend of pure dairy cream and hand-crafted rum with the distinctive eastern spices and flavors of cardamom, saffron, almonds, pistachios and rose. The result is an all-natural, gluten-free and Kosher liqueur.
