
Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), hosted a California Wine Dinner at Flair Restaurant & Bar in Southington on Jan. 26. Guests enjoyed a five-course meal created by Flair Co-owners and father and son Hector and Jose Delgado paired with wines from California-based wineries J Vineyards & Winery and Louis M. Martini. The team presented the selections to guests, which included J Vineyards Pinot Gris, J Vineyards Winemaker’s Selection Chardonnay, J Vineyards Tri-Appellation Pinot Noir, J Vineyards California Cuvée and Louis M. Martini Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma. Nicole Hitchcock, Winemaker, J Vineyards & Winery, was named 2022 Winemaker of the Year by Wine Enthusiast magazine. For more than 30 years, J Vineyards & Winery has been producing award-winning California sparkling and varietal wines in the Russian River Valley of Sonoma County. Since 1933, the Martini family has played an integral role in establishing Napa Valley and the Louis M. Martini Winery offers an internationally acclaimed portfolio of Cabernet Sauvignon.

- The second course: apple chicken sausage casserole, butternut squash, braised cabbage and dried cranberries with a maple glaze.
