By February 25, 2018Connecticut, Top News

Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI) presented a check to the Purple Heart Foundation for a November 2017 Sales Drive on Purple Heart wines on February 2. For each case sold, $20 was collected for donations to the Purple Heart Foundation, an organization dedicated to serving the unmet needs of military men, women and families. For more than 60 years, the Purple Heart Foundation has been supporting and honoring the sacrifice of military veterans. Last year alone, the foundation helped more than 19,000 veterans secure over $210 million dollars in VA benefits in addition to a variety of assistance programs. Crafted by Winemaker John Moynier from hand-selected lots of choice Sonoma County fruit, Purple Heart Red Blend is a medium-bodied wine, lushly textured with notes of red and black fruits, blueberry and hints of cardamom.
