By January 28, 2018Connecticut, Top News

Charter Oak Brewing Company of New Canaan introduced a new look for two brews in the marketplace in December 2017. Its 1687 Brown Ale and Wadsworth IPA were given new labels and revised recipes. Charter Oak Royal Charter Pale Ale started shipping at the end of December. The beers are available in Connecticut through Star Distributors and Cellar Fine Wines. Charter Oak Brewing is building a new brewery and taproom in Danbury. “We forecast being operational and brewing beer in March with the taproom open to the public in late April,” said Scott Vallely, Founder. The new brewery will allow for expanded capacity and the company will market dozens of styles. Charter Oak currently markets three core beers, 1687 Brown Ale, Royal Charter Pale Ale and Wadsworth IPA. The brewery also offers several limited releases, known as its “Charter Series.”
