The Cocktail Guru team showcased their skills at a pop-up cocktail event at Newport’s Bar and Board Bistro during the Newport Wine & Food Festival on September 20. Jonathan Pogash, President/Owner, The Cocktail Guru, was joined by Trish Rossiene, Mixologist and Educator, Cocktail Guru and Beverage Director for the New York City-based JG Hospitality Group. The Cocktail Guru team created a variety of specialty cocktails for event guests to imbibe upon, featuring Mad River Distillers PX Rum; Mad River Distillers Maple Cask Rum; Kleos, The Mastiha Spirit; Sipsmith London Dry Gin; St. Elder Natural Elderflower Liqueur; El Tesoro Reposado Tequila; Ruffino Prosecco; Ramazzotti Aperitivo Rosato; and Agrosan Amaro dell’Etna. All proceeds from sales benefited the Women’s Resource Center of Newport, a charitable organization dedicated to the prevention of domestic violence.
